How to request deletion
From inside Tassenger
- Open Tassenger.
- Go to the Me tab.
- Choose Delete account.
- Read the deletion summary.
- Submit the deletion request.
The app may ask you to confirm your phone number or re-verify ownership before the request is processed.

If the website form is unavailable, email vscsocialhandle@gmail.com with the subject Tassenger account deletion request and include:
- phone number on the account, including country code;
- display name on the account;
- optional email on your profile, if any;
- reason for deletion, if you want to share it;
- a contact email or phone number where we can verify the request.
Identity verification
We verify deletion requests to protect your account. Verification may include:
- OTP sent to the phone number on the account;
- confirmation from the optional email on your profile;
- additional account details needed to identify the account;
- workspace-admin coordination where the request affects organization-owned workspace records.
If we cannot verify that you control the account, we may decline the request or ask for more information.
What we delete or anonymize
After verification, the deletion/anonymization workflow covers:
Account and sign-in data
- phone number removed from the active account where possible;
- active sessions invalidated;
- OTP/session data expired or removed according to security retention;
- device push tokens removed so notifications stop for the deleted account.
Profile data
- name removed or replaced with a generic deleted-user label;
- About line removed;
- optional email removed;
- profile photo removed from active storage.
Contacts and discovery
- contact discovery links tied to your account are removed or anonymized;
- your account no longer appears as an active Tassenger profile through contact matching.
Messages and personal groups
- messages you sent may be deleted, anonymized, or replaced with a deleted-message tombstone such as This message was deleted;
- group membership records may be removed or anonymized;
- other users may still see message context, tombstones, quoted history, screenshots, exports, or media they already saved outside Tassenger.
Tasks and task history
- personal task data tied only to your account is removed or anonymized where possible;
- shared task records may keep history with your identity replaced by an anonymized label so the task record remains understandable to other participants.
Media
- profile photos, group photos owned by your account, chat images, proof images, and voice notes tied to your account are removed from active storage where possible;
- copies already downloaded, screenshotted, forwarded, exported, or stored outside Tassenger cannot be removed by us;
- backup copies may remain until the backup cycle expires.
Notifications and support records
- device push tokens are removed;
- support access grants are revoked;
- support and audit records may be retained in minimized or anonymized form for safety, abuse prevention, security, and legal reasons.
Official Workspaces
If you used Tassenger inside an Official Workspace:
- your personal account can still be deleted or anonymized;
- organization-owned workspace records may remain under the workspace owner's control;
- task history, reports, audit logs, role changes, and accountability records may be retained so the organization has a coherent record;
- your identity is anonymized where possible, unless retention in identifiable form is required by law, security, dispute handling, or workspace integrity.
If you are the only owner/admin of a workspace, we may ask you to transfer ownership or coordinate with the organization before completing parts of the deletion workflow that affect workspace administration.
What may be retained
We may retain limited data where necessary for:
- legal compliance;
- security and abuse prevention;
- fraud, spam, or account-takeover investigation;
- dispute handling;
- support audit logs;
- Official Workspace accountability;
- backup integrity until backups expire.
Retained records are limited to what is necessary for those purposes and are protected under our security controls.
Timing
Typical timing after we receive a request:
- verification: within 7 business days;
- active-system deletion/anonymization: within 30 days after verification;
- backup aging: up to 90 days after active deletion.
Some requests may take longer if verification is incomplete, the account is tied to an active legal/security issue, or an Official Workspace ownership transfer is needed.
Deletion does not cancel app-store subscriptions
Tassenger currently does not process in-app payments. If paid features are added in the future, deleting your account may not automatically cancel an app-store subscription or third-party billing arrangement. Follow the applicable Apple, Google, or payment-provider cancellation flow.
