1. What Tassenger is
Tassenger is a messenger with built-in tasks. It supports:
- phone-number sign-in;
- personal one-to-one chats;
- groups;
- Official Workspaces;
- task creation, assignment, due dates, repeats, proof, reviews, blockers, and history;
- media such as profile photos, group photos, chat images, proof images, and voice notes;
- push notifications for messages, tasks, and reminders.
Tassenger is provided for personal communication and for organization-managed collaboration through Official Workspaces.
2. Eligibility and account responsibility
You must be old enough to use Tassenger under the laws that apply to you. If local law requires parent, guardian, employer, school, or organization consent, you may use Tassenger only with that required consent.
You are responsible for:
- providing a phone number you are authorized to use;
- protecting your phone, SIM, OTP, device lock, and active sessions;
- keeping your profile information accurate and non-misleading;
- activity that occurs through your account.
Tassenger support will never ask for your OTP or verification code. Do not share it with anyone.
3. Phone sign-in and notifications
Tassenger uses phone-number verification and one-time passwords to authenticate accounts. Standard carrier charges may apply.
Tassenger may use push notifications for messages, tasks, reminders, mentions, and account activity. You can disable notifications in your device settings, but doing so may cause you to miss time-sensitive task or message alerts.
4. Your profile
Your profile may include your name, optional About line, optional email, and optional profile photo. You agree that your profile information:
- is accurate enough for people to identify you in the app;
- does not impersonate someone else;
- does not violate another person's rights;
- does not contain abusive, illegal, or misleading content.
Your name, About line, and photo may be visible to users who can see your profile through chats, groups, or workspaces.
5. Contacts and discovery
Tassenger may ask for Contacts permission so you can find people already on Tassenger and invite people who are not yet using it. Contacts access is optional. If you allow it, contact phone numbers may be processed for matching. Contact names, emails, notes, and full address-book records are not uploaded for browsing.
You can deny or revoke Contacts permission. Some discovery features may be limited if you do.
6. Your content
"Your Content" means anything you send, upload, create, or submit through Tassenger, including messages, images, voice notes, profile photos, group photos, tasks, due dates, repeat settings, proof, reviews, blocker notes, comments, and support requests.
You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant Virtualify a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, transmit, copy, cache, process, display, and use Your Content only as needed to operate Tassenger, deliver it to intended recipients, sync it across devices, provide support, secure the service, and comply with the law.
You are responsible for Your Content. You must have the rights needed to share it, and it must not violate these Terms or the law.
7. Messaging, tasks, and reminders
Tassenger helps users communicate and manage tasks, but it does not guarantee any task outcome, performance result, reminder delivery time, or business result.
Messages, task updates, reminders, and notifications may be delayed or fail because of network issues, device settings, platform services, power-saving modes, or third-party infrastructure. For critical obligations, you remain responsible for using additional follow-up outside the app where appropriate.
8. Media uploads
When you upload media, you agree that:
- file size, format, compression, and processing limits may apply;
- media may be stored by our cloud storage provider;
- recipients may view, save, screenshot, forward, or otherwise retain content after receiving it;
- deleting content in Tassenger may not remove copies already saved outside our systems.
Do not upload media that is unlawful, abusive, exploitative, infringing, or violates someone else's privacy.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use Tassenger to:
- break the law or violate another person's rights;
- harass, threaten, abuse, exploit, or impersonate others;
- send spam, scams, phishing messages, malware, or deceptive content;
- share illegal, hateful, violent, sexually exploitative, or abusive material;
- collect, scrape, or misuse phone numbers, contact graphs, profiles, messages, or workspace data;
- bypass rate limits, security controls, permissions, roles, audit logs, or access restrictions;
- reverse engineer the app except where the law expressly permits it;
- disrupt, overload, or attack Tassenger or its service providers;
- use Tassenger for unauthorized surveillance, unlawful employment action, or unlawful recordkeeping;
- misuse support access, workspace administration, or reporting features.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts or remove content if we reasonably believe these Terms, safety rules, or applicable laws have been violated.
10. Personal use
When you use Tassenger personally:
- you control your personal account and personal groups you create;
- people you message can see and retain what you send them;
- group members can see group content according to group membership;
- you may request account deletion using the delete-account page or the in-app path.
Personal chats and groups are not official employment or organization records unless you use them for that purpose outside Tassenger.
11. Official Workspaces
An Official Workspace is an organization-managed Tassenger environment. It may include members, roles, official groups, tasks, reports, score/accountability signals, audit logs, and support access.
If you join an Official Workspace, you understand that:
- the workspace owner and authorized admins may manage members, roles, groups, tasks, reports, and workspace settings;
- workspace activity may be visible to the organization according to role and policy;
- workspace tasks, reports, audit logs, and related records may remain part of the organization's records even if you leave;
- workspace owners are responsible for required notices, consents, policies, and compliance with employment, privacy, labor, and other applicable laws.
If you create or administer an Official Workspace, you represent that you have authority to do so and that your use of workspace features complies with applicable law and your organization's policies.
12. Support access
Virtualify support may access limited account or workspace data when needed to diagnose issues, respond to requests, investigate abuse, maintain security, or comply with law.
For Official Workspaces, support access should be scoped, time-limited, authorized where appropriate, and recorded in audit logs. We may also access limited data without prior approval when required for security, abuse prevention, service integrity, or legal compliance.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Tassenger at any time and may request account deletion.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access, remove content, or disable features if:
- you violate these Terms or the law;
- your account appears compromised;
- your activity creates security, legal, operational, or reputational risk;
- a workspace owner lawfully removes you from a workspace;
- we are required to act by law, court order, platform rule, or government request.
Where reasonable, we will provide notice. Urgent safety, abuse, or legal issues may require action without prior notice.
14. Account deletion and retention
You can request account deletion through the app or at https://www.virtualifyme.com/tassenger/delete-account.
Account deletion removes or anonymizes your account identity, profile, sessions, push tokens, and personal data where possible. Some shared records may remain, including message tombstones, task history, audit logs, abuse/security records, and Official Workspace records where retention is required for workspace accountability, legal compliance, or safety.
Uninstalling Tassenger does not delete your account.
15. Service changes and availability
We may add, change, limit, suspend, or remove features. Tassenger may be unavailable because of maintenance, outages, third-party services, network problems, app updates, or events outside our control.
Some features may be released as beta, early-access, or limited-availability features. We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free behavior.
16. Third-party services
Tassenger relies on providers such as Supabase, Cloudflare R2, Apple Push Notification service, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Apple platform services, and Google platform services. Their services may have their own terms and privacy commitments.
We are not responsible for outages or failures caused by providers, devices, operating systems, carrier networks, app stores, or user settings outside our control.
17. Intellectual property
Tassenger, the app design, trademarks, logos, software, documentation, and service components are owned by Virtualify or its licensors. You may use Tassenger only as allowed by these Terms and applicable app-store rules.
You must not copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Tassenger except as expressly allowed by written agreement.
18. No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tassenger is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not make warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, suitable for every use, or that all messages, tasks, reminders, notifications, or media will always be delivered.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
19. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Virtualify will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, lost business, missed task outcomes, missed reminders, or reputational harm.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Virtualify's total liability for claims relating to Tassenger will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Virtualify for Tassenger in the 12 months before the claim or INR 1,000.
This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
20. Indemnity
If your use of Tassenger, Your Content, your workspace administration, or your violation of these Terms causes a claim against Virtualify, you agree to indemnify and hold Virtualify harmless to the extent permitted by law.
21. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with competent jurisdiction in India will have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer rights or local laws that apply to you.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Tassenger changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the app, website, or other appropriate channel. Your continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
